VARSITY STAFF

Head Coach:  Jim DiGuiseppe, Sr.  (20th season, 16th as head coach)

Coach DiGuiseppe, Sr. is a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School. He earned his B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Temple University. 

Coach "D" is in his 20th season at Wood. He was named the 2009 Philadelphia Catholic League Blue Division Coach of the Year as well as the Bucks County Courier Times Co-Coach of the Year, along with his son Jim Jr. He was a coach on the 2008 and 2009 Carpenter Cup staff.  

He is a Health and Physical Education teacher at Neil Armstrong Middle School. Coach is married to Christine for the last 37 years and has 3 children; Jim, Jr., Andrea and Christopher.  He has 4 grandchildren; J.P., Dominic, Haley and Audriana.


Coach:  Jim DiGuiseppe, Jr.  (14th season)

Coach DiGuiseppe, Jr. is a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School. He earned his B.S. in Business Education from Delaware Valley College and M.S. in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University. He recently acquired his Certification in Supervision and Leadership.

Coach "Dege" was a three-year letter winner as an outfielder and pitcher at DVC. While playing for the Aggies he was awarded Most Valuable Player and First Team All-Conference. Additionally, he played for Lansdale in the Perky League. He is a former head coach for Newtown American Legion. Coach was named the Bucks County Courier Times Co-Coach of the Year, along with his father Jim Sr. in 2009. He was a coach on the 2008 and 2009 Carpenter Cup staff.

Coach is a Business teacher at Bucks County Technical High School.  He is married to Beth and has 2 sons; J.P. and Dominic.

 

Coach:  Jason Osbeck  (7th season)

Coach Osbeck is a gradute of Council Rock High School. He earned his B.S. from the University of Delaware and M.B.A. from Holy Family University. 

Coach "Oz" was a two-year letter winner at UD and a catcher on the Blue Hens 1996 World Series participant team. He is a former assistant coach for Newtown American Legion. 

Coach is employed by Healthcare Services Group, Inc.  He is married to Mary Beth and has 2 children; Elizabeth and John.

 

Coach:  Bill James  (5th season)

Coach James is a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School. He earned his B.A. in School Counseling from Gwynedd Mercy College and is pursuing his Masters Degree.  While at GMC, he worked as a graduate assistant in the student activities department.  

Coach "Beej" played at GMC and was a catcher in the Griffins program.  

He is currently employed by BARC and works with special needs adults as a Program Specialist.  Coach is a volunteer fire fighter for Feasterville Engine 6 Station.

 

Coach:  Kevin Rosini  (2nd season)

Coach Rosini is a graduate of Central Columbia High School. He earned his B.S. in Elementary Education from Millersville University. 

Coach "Rizzo" is a former head coach for William Tennent High School. 

He is a Math teacher at Eugene Klinger Middle School.  He has 1 son; Zack.

 

 

JUNIOR VARSITY STAFF

Coach:  Steve Keller  (2nd season)

Coach Keller is a graduate of North Penn High School. He earned his Certification in Golf Turf Management from Rutgers University. 

He is a former head JV coach for William Tennent High School.

Coach is an assistant superintendent at Meadowlands Country Club.

 

Coach:  Tom Blackwell  (2nd season)

Coach Blackwell is a graduate of North Penn High School. He earned his B.S. in Health and Physical Education from West Virginia University. 

He is a former assistant coach for William Tennent High School. 

Coach is a Health and Physical Education teacher at William Tennent High School.  

 

Coach:  Brian Haas  (1st season)

Coach Haas is a graduate of North Penn High School. 

  


FRESHMAN STAFF
Coach:  Joe Webb  (5th season)
Coach Webb is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School. He earned his B.A. in Biology from LaSalle University.
Coach Webb is a Science teacher at Archbishop Wood High School.

Coach:  Ray Duckworth  (5th season)
Coach Duckworth is a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School.
He is an assistant coach for Newtown American Legion.
Coach Duckworth is self-employed. He has 3 children; Scott, Lauren and Sean. Coach has 2 grandchildren; Jake and Regan.

 

Coach:  Tom Zulewski  (1st season)
Coach Zulewski is a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School.
Coach is currently enrolled at Penn State Abington studying Journalism.
